Ipl 2024 Retention And Ratinees List Out
The eagerly anticipated return of Hardik Pandya to the Mumbai Indians is now complete. In a one-time, all-cash deal, he acquired the five-time champion from Gujarat Titans.
The Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans, the two participating teams, signed the agreement on Sunday, November 26, the final day of player release and retention before the IPL 2024 auction. Since this is an all-cash deal, as was previously stated, no players have chosen to go in the other direction.
Formal approval has been granted for the trade, which consists solely of cash transactions, according to sources within the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The precise value of the trade is still unknown. The 30-year-old all-rounder pays an annual league fee of Rs 15 crore.
DC releases Rossouw, Mustafizur, Powell and others; LSG set for overhaul
Prithvi Shaw is not one of the players that the Delhi Capitals are prepared to let go of. Riley Rossouw, Phil Salt, Sarfaraz Khan, Aman Khan, Rovman Powell, and Mustafizur Rahman are among the well-known figures. While there may be more players out, Cricbuzz can verify the names listed above.
The Indian Premier League (IPL)’s top-performing team over the previous two seasons, Lucknow Super Giants, will undergo significant change. The team, owned by Sanjiv Goenka, is scheduled to release approximately eight nine players, allowing them to enter the December 19 auction with a reserve of approximately Rs 20-25 crore. The previous two seasons, the team had made it to the playoffs.
Under the direction of new coach Justin Langer, LSG has made the decision to cut players like Suryansh Shedge, Karan Sharma, Manan Vohra, and Swapnil Singh. Although it is unclear at this time who else will be fired, some international players are thought to be on the release list.
Punjab’s top-order batsman, Vohra, appeared in just one game the previous campaign. Mumbai-born Shedge is an all-round player who was purchased at last year’s auction for his base price of Rs 20 lakh. In just two seasons, Karan Sharma, who cost Rs 50 lakh when purchased in 2022, appeared in just three games. 32-year-old all-rounder Swapnil has experience playing in domestic cricket for both Uttarakhand and Baroda. Last year, he was purchased for 20 lakh rupees.
The Chennai Super Kings will be without a few key players, such as Ambati Rayudu (retired) and Ben Stokes (dropped out), as was previously reported. Bhagat Verma, Subhranshu Senapati, Sisanda Magala, and Kyle Jamieson are among the others who are absent. Tim Southee, Lockie Ferguson, and Shardul Thakur are listed on the Kolkata Knight Riders’ release list.
Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Mohit Rathi, Baltej Dhanda, Raj Bawa, and Sharukh Khan have all been released by Punjab Kings. They paid a large amount of money to acquire Sam Curran, who has been kept on.
