The MG Hector Plus is causing quite a stir as its price has surged by Rs 40,000, necessitating a bit more from your wallet.
Recently launched on January 5, 2023, in the Indian market, the MG Hector facelift boasts top-notch features and convenience. Initially, MG Motors had slashed the prices of the Hector and Hector Plus by Rs 1.37 lakh, only to now announce another price hike.
MG Hector Plus New Pricing
The prices of both MG Hector and Hector Plus have been upped by Rs 40,000, starting at Rs 15 lakh ex-showroom in the Indian market.
MG Hector Plus Variants
The MG Hector comes in 5 variants in the Indian market, including Style, Smart, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and the top-tier Savvy Pro. Additionally, it offers two dual-tone and six monotone color options. Opting for the Plus variant provides the choice of a 6-seater or 7-seater layout.
MG Hector Plus Engine
Powering this SUV are two engine options – a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine generating 143 bhp and 250 Nm torque, and a 2.0-liter diesel engine with 170 bhp and 350 Nm torque. Both engines come with a standard six-speed manual transmission, while the petrol unit offers a CBT gearbox. The claimed mileage stands at 15.18 kmpl.

Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the MG Hector Plus flaunts a 7-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay with wireless Android Auto, and an advanced turn indicator, a feature unprecedented in other vehicles.
