One of the first shows took place in New Zealand, and a member of the audience there took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share his Dunki review. With Dunki, the social media user praised Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani for making an outstanding patriotic film. He also stated that Vicky Kaushal’s performance will move you. Taapsee Pannu also plays the lead in Dunki.

Dunki has a run time of 2 hours 41 minutes and a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification. The film follows the emotional journey of a group of friends who want to relocate to another country. The plot follows the exciting journey of those who choose an unusual route known as the Donkey Flight, demonstrating the difficulties they face along the way. This film is a collaboration between JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films, and is produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan. Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon wrote Dunki.
