Bharat NCAP Rating

Bharat NCAP was recently introduced in the Indian market. And we won’t have to send vehicles to a foreign security facility to be tested. India NCAP will adhere to the same results and protocols as Global End Cap. Tata Harrier and Safari have received a five-star safety rating under these protocols.

Both SUVs have performed admirably in the Indian market. This is also demonstrated in everyday life.

Tata Harrier And Safari Safety features

Both vehicles are outfitted with similar safety features. The Harrier and Safari are built on the OMEGARC architecture, which was derived from Land Rover’s D8 platform. It also has the best ADAS technology, which includes features such as departure from line warning, return to line, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, line retention, blind spot monitoring system, Real Cross Traffic Alert, Traffic Jam Assist, and Driver Attention.

Other safety features include 7 airbags, electronic stability control, a tire pressure monitoring system, hill haul assist, hill descent control, traction control, a 3 point seat belt reminder, a 360-degree camera, and an ISOFIX fixed child seat mount seat.

Tata Harrier And Safari Engine

Both SUVs are powered by engines that are similar in size. 2.0 liter four-cylinder diesel engine with 168 bhp and 350 Nm torque. This engine is available with a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission. It is expected that petrol engines will be available in 2024.
