What is flex fuel?
An alternative fuel produced by combining gasoline, methanol, or ethanol is called flex fuel. The engines in flex fuel vehicles are made to run on multiple fuel types. The fuel system and engine are heavily modified. As a result, it looks like the typical gasoline model. Because it is made from corn and corn, flex fuel is also known as alcohol base fuel.

Starch and sugar fermentation is done in its manufacturing process, apart from this, ethanol engines are also much more economical than normal petrol. ‌ While the price of petrol in the Indian market is around ₹ 100, the price of ethanol is going to be between ₹ 60 to 70. And apart from this, it is also going to prove to be a boon for our farmers. The condition of the farmers of our country will also improve and our economy is also going to see more growth.

Future of flex fuel in India?
Flex fuel will eventually make its way into the Indian market, though. However, there is a lot of work being done on this technology. The Indian market will see a lot of projects utilizing flex fuel technology in the near future. Flex fuel technology was spotted in the Toyota Innova High Cross abroad a while back.
